 “I visited Valencia together with my friend for 5 days in Jan 2011 and we took the full-board homestay package with a Spanish host family offered by Venamicasa. We were very satisfied with the service offered by Venamicasa, it was first class! My host family, Paquita, was a lady who lives alone in the city centre in Valencia. Paquita gave us a very warm welcome and made us feel at home for the 5 days that we stayed in her nice apartment. She is used to welcoming visitors, and although we don’t speak Spanish, it wasn’t difficult to communicate. And Amelia was just a phone call away when we needed any information about Valencia or how to get around. We had the chance to taste a lot of the delicious Spanish meals cooked by Paquita. Paquita’s apartment was within walking distance to the main tourist sites, so it was easy for us to tour the area. I would strongly recommend Venamicasa to anyone interested to visit and enjoy Spain without spending much.”

We really enjoy stay at Adela’s home and we could stady Spanish . We can’t speak spanish well , but Adela talked with us and explain many times . When we left her house , we felt very sad.

I am leaving Calle de Rocafort next week after staying here for 4 months. I want to let you know that I highly recommend Teresa and Enrique’s home to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Barclelona. They have both made me feel very welcome and at home here. Although I have been cooking my own food, I have seen what a wonderful cook Teresa is and how much everyone enjoys her food. The flat is clean and very comfortable and is in a very good situation in the city.

Thank you for finding this homestay for me. I will be sad to leave next week.

Well, I just landed in Tunis this morning, and I wanted to tell you that everything was alright during my trip.

First, I would like to thank you because you gave me a lot of information for this first experience, and also for your trust and the exception you made for me regarding the payment.

As I promised I gave the money cash to my lovely host Mrs . Teresa upon my arrival last sunday.

My host did everything perfectly for me, food was delicious and as I wanted, the place was perfect, clean and everything was SO GREAT!!

I really thank you and if I give Mrs Teresa a mark it will be 20/20 :))) she was really cool and I felt so well at ease, and confortble in her house.

Mrs Teresa was always availabe to advise me or see if I need anything.

Good morning Teresa and ‘The Catalan’!
Thank you both, Teresa and Enrique, for our wonderful visit to Barcelona. Doing a homestay was a really worthwhile way to stay and absorb the ‘local flavour’….we would definitely recommend Venamicasa and especially Teresa’s house for a stay. We were so well fed – to bursting point!……and Teresa is a wonderful cook who went out of her way to provide the gluten free meals that Doug needed. She really put herself out so he didn’t have any dietary problems while in Barcelona. This wasn’t so easy to cope with in the rest of our travels.
