AN UNFORGETTABLE VISIT TO THE CITY OF PORCELAIN
The visit to LLadró Museum is visited for more than 15.000 visitors every year. A cultural journey around the Lladró factory, with audiovisual projections in which the history of porcelain and the steps of Lladró manufacture process are told, from the origins of the family and the first figurines, the creative process, inspiration, the creation of the piece and the modelling. During the complete journey around the factory, it is showed to the visitor, all the steps of the elaboration process of the porcelain figurines.
A visit to the Historic Porcelain Museum and Lladró paintings collection gives to the visitor the opportunity to see a good exhibition of the creations and the most relevant pieces since its foundation in 1953 until today, and the purchase any or their products from the museum-store.
The Lladró Museum is certified by the SICTED project (Spanish Integral System of Tourism Quality in Destination) as a “visitable center of tourist interest).
To complete the journey, is it possible to visit the Lladró’s family home in Almassera (Valencia), where the family lived and were Lladró was born back in 1950. A typical Valencian home carefully restorated, the typical furniture, the kitchen and usual utensils, where the Lladró brothers, Juan, Jose and Vicente started their business and the techniques they used to elaborate the pieces, an exhibition of the first pieces the brothers created together with sculptures, drawings and fresco paintings they made while they were students.
